High Expectations?

When we picture our dream person, we always have a particular person in mind. For some, it is an image of their perfect person and for others it is a set of qualities that they want their dream person to have. With more dates and experience in different relationships, your perfect person changes. You find out what you like or what you don't like. As you grow, so does your perfect person. Yet, is that image of our perfect person stopping us from finding true love? We meet and see a number of people a day, yet, if they do not fit our image, we ignore them and don't give them a chance. What if that person was our soul mate or love of our life? Yet, we passed them by. Maybe we need to consider that our expectations for our dream person might be getting in the way of us actually finding that person. There are tons of fish in the sea, as the saying goes. Maybe we need to stop throwing them into the ocean without getting to know them. Maybe we need to let the love build. Of course, like me, their are probably some who believe in true love and "the one." If you are one of those people, don't forget that they might not be what you expected. If they are, that's great! That is super amazing! If not, then remember that love works in mysterious ways.
