Introduction

Hello everyone!

Angel and I started this blog a few days ago and it has completely taken over our time since. Aside from this website, I'm a full time college student and a member of a very active family (that's putting it lightly). In all the madness of creating this website, writing and publishing my first few articles, keeping up with all my classes, and continuing to manage my responsibilities as a son, older brother, cousin, grandson, nephew, friend, etc. I completely forgot to introduce myself to all of you! Well for starters, I live in a small town in the beautiful state of South Carolina, rooted in the traditions and customs of the deep South (which has its ups and downs). My parents separated when I was in the fourth grade and later divorced when I was in the fifth and sixth grades (it was a long, drawn out, nasty process). I'm a true "90's kid" and proud and recently turned eighteen years old this past October (2015). I've played soccer and baseball since I was roughly four years old, but stopped when I started taking advanced courses in middle school and if my memory serves me correctly, I believe it was in the seventh grade. Since then I took up reading, writing, volunteering and occasionally working for pass times and enjoy it very much. I also love to travel and go to the beach. I absolutely LOVE the coast. At this point, if you're not from the South, I'm sure you're wondering if I'm a redneck or country boy; I AM NOT AND NEVER HAVE BEEN A REDNECK AND CONSIDER ANY ACCUSATION OF THE SORT EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE; I do admit, I went through a little bit of a "country" stage but quickly grew out of it by high school and I must say "THANK GOODNESS" for that! It was my freshman year of high school when I first met one of my life-long best friends, Angel. In fact, if it wasn't for her, this website probably wouldn't even be here and if it was, it wouldn't look anywhere near as good as it does now. She works so very hard on everything she does and put her heart in this website. We both are stubborn, strong willed, strongly academically motivated, lazy at times, kind-hearted, compassionate, and have one hell of a sense of humor. I haven't fully decided for sure what I want to do with my life. I've considered many things: teaching, criminal justice, law, and even medicine. Right now, I hope to become a nurse practitioner or actually going all the way and getting my medical degree and work in trauma/emergency medicine (E.R. doctor). Until then, I'm just taking one step at a time and living day by day to keep working towards my dreams. If there is anything else you guys want to know, please don't hesitate to ask! You can ask Angel, I'm an open book and straight-forward/honest to a fault. I can't wait to hear from you guys!
