It's Time to DIY in Motivation Nation

A huge part of Motivation Nation week are DIY projects. DIY stands for "do it yourself." DIYs are awesome! For todays daily topic, I want to explain why DIY projects are great.

1) MONEY SAVER! DIYs, for the most part, are cheaper than actually going out and buying whatever it is that you are making. The great part about DIYs is that they can be made with stuff that you most likely already have at home. If you have to go out and buy the supplies for a DIY, I don't know if that will be cheaper and I would suggest just going out to buy the actually item. Yet, if you are a creative person who loves to work with their hands, then go for it!

2) DIYs always teach you something new. They give you a chance to make something that you never have before.

3) Communication! A lot of people love DIYs and, if you start to do them too, it is a discussion topic. It is also a great way to meet more people.

4) MONEY MAKER! Not only can DIYs help you save money, it can also help you make money. In the process of making your DIYs, you might find that you have an amazing talent in making some beautiful hand made item. If so, you can sell those and make a profit! A lot of people love hand made items.

5) It's something to do! DIYs are a perfect way to fill your time if you are bored and it will still allow you to get something out. Even if you do not need what you made or do not want to sell it, you can always give it as a gift to someone. But make sure that it looks very good, otherwise your friend might be insulted.
