Motivation Nation Wants You To Spread The Motivation

If you have been keeping up with the recent daily topics, then you would have read all about keeping yourself motivated. Yet, what if your problem isn't keeping yourself motivated, but motivating someone
else? If so, then you will love this daily topic! It is all about different tips on how to motivate someone close to you. Yet, as you are motivating your friend or at least attempting to, remember to be careful about what you say and how you say it. The last thing you want to do is offend him/her!

1) What NOT to do!
To avoid making your friend angry or hurt, make sure you do not nag, pry, beg, push, manipulate, criticize, shame, argue, or force them. In the end, they will do what they want to do and using force
will not help at all.
2) SHOW EM!
If your friend will not listen to you, then you can at least try to show them what to do. Make sure that you stay motivated and positive. Your mood might pass on to them.
3) LISTEN!
To spread your motivation onto your friends, you have to know what you are motivating them for. To do that, you have to listen to them. Try and listen to their problems so you know what and when they need motivating most. DO NOT PUSH! If your friend does not want to talk to you, pushing them to talk will not help. Respect their wishes, especially if it is a sensative subject.
4) Show em some love!
Don't forget that your friend is having trouble right now, which is probably why you feel that you need motivate them. You have to show your friend that you care and that everything you are doing is out of love.
5) SUPPORT!
Once you have motivated your friend, you have to keep them motivated. One of the best ways to do that is to support them. You have to show them that you are there for them and, if they lose motivation, you will be right there to remind them why they should be so motivated. You got them
motivated, which means you can't ditch them half way through!
6) Party Time!
Once your friend has successfully reached their goal, celebrate it. Make them feel awesome about how motivated they have been. This will encourage them to become motivated by themselves the next time.
